Social, Medical and Training Centre progress update

Summer is on the horizon and the Social, Medical and Training Centre in Sofia is really starting to take shape. The air-conditioning, insulation and weathering of the roof is being finalised, while work on the interior is well underway.

A team of young Roma people are helping with the plastering after Sofia Baptist Church received generous donations with which to buy materials, and the youth and Sunday school room walls will soon be done thanks to two young musicians in the church who organised a fundraiser in the form of a classical music concert.

Plans are now being made to do the tiles, ceilings, floors and colour schemes and the members of Sofia Baptist Church are looking forward to the completion of their new 'home.'

Charity Concert

The Easter celebrations went off well in Bulgaria, with a play and a pantomime.

There are also exciting plans for a charity concert to raise funds for the new centre. Young classical musicians from the church will play and sing in order to raise money.
