Good News from Bulgaria

The Social, Medical and Training Centre Project has appointed its first employee!

Plamena Apostolova started on 25th March as Development Worker to review the services currently provided by Sofia Baptist Church to those in their community, and expand these services prior to completion of the new Centre. Plamy has been teaching the youngsters at Sofia Baptist Church and in orphanages for some years. She is a graduate of Sofia University in Pre-school Teaching and English, speaks Russian and Greek, and recently completed her Masters Degree in Social Work which will soon lead to Institution of Social Work membership.

We are delighted that Plamy has joined the Good Samaritan Foundation Team and wish her every success in her new role. Thanks to the generous UK donor whose monthly gifts make the appointment possible.
